Professor Emeritus David Brown has just been elected a Fellow of the American Crystallographic Society (ACA), the regional affiliate of the International Union of Crystallography (IUC). The ACA serves the whole of the Americas and there is a Canadian representative on its executive.
This honor is doubtless a recognition of David's long record of outstanding contributions through the development of the widely-used Valence Bond Model, and service towards the establishment of the Crystallographic Information Framework by the IUC.
Congratulations to David!
