Topics

  • Stellar populations in star clusters, with a particular emphasis on binary stars, stellar remnants, and the effects of those populations on stellar dynamics.
  • Star cluster formation -- simulations at the scale of individual stars, including detailed treatment of star-gas interaction, feedback, etc.
  • Interstellar medium properties and the interplay with star cluster formation -- at the scale of giant molecular clouds and galaxies.
  • (Globular) clusters and interplay with their host galaxy, including stellar streams.
  • Globular Cluster systems in galaxies of all scales (dwarfs up to massive giant ellipticals).
