Star Formation Workshop

McMaster University's Department of Physics and Astronomy in conjuction with the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) are hosting a star formation workshop on the theme: "Star formation across the scales: star clusters to galactic disks"

Talks are now finalized. See the program for details. All talks and breaks (including lunch) will be held in ABB102 or an adjacent room in the A.N.Bourns Building at McMaster University . The closest parking is in lot I (right out front of ABB), but cheaper rates are available at further lots. See the parking website for more information. The talk room is connected to the main foyer of ABB in the south-west corner of the building.

There will be a complementary Planetarium show on Monday night at 5:15 pm (sign-up here ).

The banquet is organized for tuesday night (August 13th) at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Rock Garden . Buses will depart at 5 pm in front of ABB (right outside the talk room). If you are driving, there is free parking at the venue (on the other side of the road). There will be a bar and appetizers from 6-7 pm and dinner at 7 pm. You will be able to walk the beautiful gardens from your arrival. Return buses will go downtown (near the Sheraton/Jackson square) leaving from the venue at 9:45 pm.
