#------------------------------------------------- # NGC4254, Raster, Night 5, 1st February 2008 run #------------------------------------------------- # Flagging bad receptors # Receptor #15 (H14) has the usual 'beating' pattern across the bandpass # Receptor #01 (H00) is noisy and has poor baselines, flagged where appropriate # Receptor #12 (H11) has a questionable baseline (kink in middle sometimes), flagged a few times. # Receptor #5 (H04) unusually has poor baselines sometimes. # Receptor #11 (H10) plays up a little sometimes too. # Flagging 15, 1, 12, and 5 for now where appropriate. If 12 is bad there will be a resonance. # NOTE: The "spike" is in the same place as the January run, channel ~605 # O O X O # P P O O # P O O O # X O O P #------------------------------------------------- # NGC4254, Raster, Night 5, 1st February 2008 run #------------------------------------------------- # Flagging bad receptors # Receptor #15 (H14) is now automatically flagged in the raw data # Receptor #1 (H00) has very strong warps and patterns at the high velocity end of the bandpass, and otherwise has a poor bandpass shape. # Receptor #11 (H10) has a hump in the baselines sometimes. # Receptor #16 (H15) has a wave pattern in the baseline, particularly strong at the high velocity end. # Receptor #12 (H11) has a questionable baseline (kink in middle sometimes), flagged a few times. # Receptor #5 (H04) unusually has poor baselines sometimes (seen in last run for this galaxy). # Receptor #10 (H09) has some strong spikes in some observations. # Flagging 1, 11, 16, 12, 10, and 5 for now where appropriate (that's a lot of receptors). If 12 is bad there will be a resonance with 4, and with 10 if it's out. # NOTE: The "spike" is in the same place as the January run, channel ~605 # O O X P # P P P O # P O O O # X O O P #------------------------------------------ # NGC4254, Raster, Night 1, April 2008 run #------------------------------------------ # Flagging bad receptors # Receptor #15 (H14) is now automatically flagged in the raw data # Receptor #1 (H00) has very strong warps and patterns at the high velocity end of the bandpass, and otherwise has a poor bandpass shape. # Receptor #11 (H10) has a hump in the baselines sometimes. # Receptor #12 (H11) has it's usual annoying kink. # Flagging 1, 11 and 12 for now where needed. # NOTE: The "spike" has moved again, possibly the worst position ever, almost on the line centre at channel ~1066. But it seems to be completely limited to receptor 10 (of the good receptors, 1 shows a bit of it). # O O X O # P P S O # O O O O # X O O P
