Our proposal to be submitted to CFI for a contribution to the TRIUMF ARIEL project has been approved by the University! Now the hard work begins to develop the full proposal for a roughly $800K CFI contribution to the development of new facilities at TRIUMF, Canada’s National Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics. The first of the proposed new facilities to come on line under this proposal will be new capabilities for 𝛃-NMR, a condensed matter physics technique for studying quantum materials, including high temperature superconductors and materials with possible application in quantum computation.
