This past snowy January weekend (Jan 17-19) a number of undergraduates from our Department attended the annual Canadian Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CCUWiP) hosted by the University of Toronto. Participants took part in various panels, workshops, discussions and of course lots of science! In the student talks Rachel Pillsworth (second from left in the photo) was awarded the top talk in the Astronomy cateogry. Congratulations Rachel and to all attendees!
