Title: Department Town Hall on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Speakers: Chris Wilson and the EDI committee

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee has organized this town hall to update members of the department on some of our work and initiatives over the past few months. We will also introduce the members of the committee and discuss ideas and priorities for future initiatives. Planned initiatives include developing a course on Indigenous astronomy and using the lab kits from Physics 1A03 as a means for outreach into local high schools. There will be lots of opportunities for discussion, so bring your ideas!
