Title: Jedi-like Precision: Mastering Radiation Dosimetry for MR-Linac Delivery

Abstract:

In this talk, we will take a journey to the forefront of radiation therapy as we explore the complex world of dosimetry in the novel MR-linac radiation delivery. We learn about the different types of available MR-linac commercial systems, the physics of radiation transport in the presence of a magnetic field, and the challenges of performing reference dosimetry in such an environment. We will also discuss solutions to these challenges and the new AAPM TG351 protocol that will help guide us in our quest for accurate and precise dosimetry.
