Title: Building for Success with Big Data Analytics: Strategies for Making Today’s Routine Clinical Practice Data, Tomorrow’s Analytics Gold Mine

Description: The promise of big data in health care is ability to learn from the data of our past patients, to inform our decisions for tomorrow’s patients using data that is input as part of routine practice for all patients. Reaching this goal requires a comprehensive approach that including technical approaches, changes to clinical processes to build a data culture, education for staff, and implementation of standardizations that enable developing large scale solutions. In this presentation, we will review these several facets of the challenge to help build for success in your own clinic.
