Title: (e, 3e) Process as a Probe of Target e-e Correlations
Speaker: Dr. M.K. Srivastava

Description:
The usefulness and efficacy of five-fold differential cross section (FDCS)for the (e,3e) process in obtaining information regarding electron-electron correlations in atomic targets is discussed. The choice of appropriate kinematical arrangements is pointed out. In the case of quantum dots, the exact initial state wave function of an interacting electron pair under parabolic confinement and neutralization of the dot by the substrate after ejection of electrons is exploited to obtain FDCS in which the c.m. and relative motion effects are decoupled.
