Since the Discovery of Bose-Einstein Condensate a decade ago, the field of Quantum Gases is still expanding at rapid rate in many directions, and continues pulling together researchers from many traditionally unconnected disciplines. In this talk, we shall discuss some major ideas that continue to move the field forward, the recent spectacular experimental achievements, as well as the current forefront of the field.
